E-commerce is a fantastic form of internet marketing. There are many options available as far as selling goes, and it’s not too difficult to find a product which has significant demand. However, there is a problem with the overall model. Finding a wholesale supplier or drop shipper can be very difficult.

The main reason for this is that most e-commerce mediums aren’t very easy to use. Sure, you can contact suppliers, but there is no way to tell which ones are actually decent. This means that it takes some serious trial-and-error to get the right supplier. When you’re counting on your supplier to deliver products exactly when you need them, these errors can be extremely costly, and can destroy your business.

Let’s take my experience for example. I run an e-commerce store which specializes in different types of technology products. Like most technology, my products are constantly being updated. Whenever an update happens, I immediately update the website to represent that fact. This means that customers are expecting the updated version of the product.

Unfortunately for me, my supplier kept shipping the OLD versions to customers– even though they specifically ordered the newer version. It wasn’t long until I was getting emails and calls from some very unhappy customers.

Suffice to say, that week I barely got any sleep. It really wasn’t my fault, though. I updated the website, and specifically told the supplier to only send out updated products. They didn’t, which really hurt my business.

Although I was able to find a new supplier eventually and save my business, that experience got me thinking. If that happened with that specific supplier, what’s stopping it from happening with all of them? I realized that the medium I was using was awful– there was no control, and no guarantees.

For this reason, when I came across Salehoo, I decided to give it a try.

Sale hoo is a new drop shipping/wholesale service. Salehoo attempts to be better than the competition by providing a better interface, a community, better service, and make the whole process as safe and reliable as possible.

But does it actually accomplish that, or is it just another unreliable wholesale service?

Like I said, I was very interested to try Salehoo, which is offered by both Simon Slade and Mark Ling. I’ve been looking for a new medium, and this one looked like it might be the best one for me. However, I needed to test it out before being certain. That meant testing out all the aspects of the service– from drop shipping to wholesale bulk buying.

It cost me a bit of money, but I needed to be sure that I was getting the full service.

Before I talk about the results, though, I’d just like to go over a few different aspects behind Salehoo’s overall service.

First and foremost, they put a huge emphasis on safety. They know how easy it is to get scammed or tricked when looking for a wholesaler, which is why they’ve made sure that it has a very low chance of actually happening on Salehoo. They’ve made it easy to see feedback other people have given the seller, and the seller also must be verified with the website.

By making these two factors required, Salehoo is already a much safer medium than the vast majority of e-commerce websites.

It doesn’t end there, though. What I personally like best about Salehoo is the community. There are over 75,000 members of the community, and it is growing every day there are not many complaints or scam reports. If you need new products, simply go on over to the community page and see who is selling your product (or one like it), and what supplier they are using. You can even make a post asking which supplier you should use, and why it is the best one available.

By interacting with the community, you will gain a much better understanding of the overall system, and have the least possible chance of getting scammed.

Another thing I really liked about Salehoo is the organization. There are quite a few websites which allow people to buy wholesale from them, but how many of them are easy to navigate? In my experience, none of them. Sure, they all have a list of categories available, but when you click on the categories; you get a jumbled list that isn’t very helpful.

Salehoo solves this problem by being completely organized. Right off the bat, there is a huge list of suppliers and drop-shippers. If you need wholesale, you can find it extremely easily. For drop-shipping, it’s simply a matter of searching for your product, and then finding suppliers who can make it for you. With over 8,000 suppliers currently listed, it’s not too difficult to find someone who will help you out.

The Result

The results of my Salehoo test were fantastic. The website was very easy to navigate, and I was able to find quite a few great suppliers. Of those suppliers, I haven’t had a SINGLE issue or complaint. I’ve now switched all my old stores over to using Salehoo suppliers, and couldn’t be happy.

If you currently run an e-commerce store, strongly consider making the switch to Salehoo. It might be a bit difficult in the short-term, but it will save you a massive headache in the long-term. Trust me on this one. Salehoo is a great website! I hope you have enojyed my salehoo review.
